Quick answers to common questions about using PicStitch for embroidery digitizing and stitch generation.

PicStitch generates vector patterns and digitizes images into standard embroidery machine formats, including:
  • DST (Tajima)
  • PES (Brother, Baby Lock, Bernina)
  • EXP (Melco, Bernina)
  • JEF (Janome, Elna, Kenmore)
  • VP3 (Husqvarna Viking, Pfaff)
  • High-resolution PNG & SVG vector previews
You can transfer these exported files directly to your embroidery machine via USB drive or companion transfer software.

If you changed phones or reinstalled PicStitch, you can restore your existing PRO purchase anytime:
  1. Open the PicStitch app on your iOS device.
  2. Navigate to Settings or the Paywall / Upgrade screen.
  3. Tap "Restore Purchases".
  4. Ensure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the initial purchase. Your PRO status will reactivate instantly.

For optimal AI digitizing and clean stitch outlines, we recommend:
  • Using high-resolution images with crisp edges and distinct colors.
  • Ensuring solid contrast between the subject/logo and the background.
  • Avoiding extremely blurry or heavily shaded photographic textures when aiming for simple patch embroidery.
  • Using our built-in image enhancement preview before generating final stitch paths.

Subscriptions are securely processed and managed by Apple. To manage or cancel your auto-renewing subscription:
  1. Open your iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap your Apple ID Name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select PicStitch and tap Cancel Subscription.
Note: You will continue to have access to PRO features until the end of your current billing period.
